With a 40L volume and optimized weight of 2,350g, the EXPLORE 40 is the perfect companion for long mountain tours and multi-day hut trips. Designed for ski tourers and splitboarders, it features diagonal and A-Frame ski carry options, a helmet holder, two ice axe loops, and the ARVA REACTOR system — the most compact and high-performance dual airbag system, for maximum mountain safety.

Engineered for comfort and endurance, the 3D-FIT system ensures a tailored fit, while compression straps keep the pack stable on the descent. The pocket layout offers quick and intuitive access to your gear. A dedicated front pocket holds your safety equipment, a large back zipper provides full access to the main compartment, and a bottom-access compartment lets you grab skins, gloves, crampons, or a bottle without removing the pack.

With its 40L capacity, this pack lets you carry everything you need for multi-day adventures in the mountains — from rope and ice axe to spare clothes and a summit lunch.

Cannot be used alone — the EXPLORE 40 SWITCH COVER must be paired with a SWITCH FRAME REACTOR back unit.

    We recommend using a strap to secure the ski tips and separate the tails.

    This product is made from robust recycled polyester fabrics to reduce our environmental impact and increase long-term durability.
    We use 300D polyester and 150D polyester linings, both made from recycled plastics.
